The SL-500 slitting station is used for slitting common materials such as copper, brass, steel, and aluminum. This extra wide slitter is used with the FM-335 machine and has an overall capacity of 500mm. It can be configured two ways, one for slitting a strip into two equal strips used for two-out fin machine tooling, or as a universal slitting head that is adjustable to any strip width used for trim slitting. The slitter is easy to set up, just set the incoming guides to the strip width you are starting with, then set the slitting blades to the size you wish to slit, start the strip through and you are ready to go. Voss supplies gauges to aid in the setup of your finished slit widths.
