The UNC-30 series is the Voss standard uncoiler. These are simple, robust designs that suit the individual needs of the machinery they are sold with.
The UNC-30 uncoilers are loop controlled, with a DC motor using a dancer arm-controlled potentiometer to regulate the uncoiling speed. These are equipped with
tight web sensing, whereas the uncoiler will send an e-stop signal to the machine to stop the process once a tight web is sensed.
Options Available
- Expandable Aluminum Arbor: Available in two sizes, 2.95 in [75mm] and 3.94 in [100mm], and with extensions cover a range up to 11.81 in [300mm] in core ID diameter.
- Linkage Type Arbor: Used for the larger ID coils, covering coil ID’s from 11.81 in [300mm] to 15.75 in [400mm].
- Cone Style: Used on core ID’s of 5.91 in [150mm] and less.
- Hub Type: Made for a specific core ID, for example, if the core is a 7.87 in [200mm] ID, the Hub would be just under that and slip into the core.
- Speed Options: Standard is 32.81 ft/min [10m/min]. High speed is 328.08 ft/min [100m/min].
- Left or Right Hand option
- Heavy Duty Gear Box available for heavy coils
